2025 Golf League Information

League Dues

💰 Team Members: $90.00
💰 Substitutes: $45.00
🔹 Total Dues: $90.00 for team members, $45.00 for substitutes

🗓️ Payment Deadline: Before league play starts on May 7th, 2025
🚫 No Pay, No Points: Members with unpaid dues will not receive team points until paid. Competitors will play against par to earn points.

League Overview

🏌️‍♂️ Team Limit: 32 teams
📅 League Duration: April 30th – August 8, 2024 (16 weeks)
🌧️ Rainouts: One week reserved for makeup play

🏆 Championship Tournament:

  • 16-Team Double Elimination format

  • Starts August 12, 2025 (Mondays & Thursdays)

  • Matches must be completed before the next scheduled round

  • Substitutes: Only listed league substitutes allowed

General Play Rules

🏌️‍♀️ Match Format: 2-member teams compete against another 2-member team
👥 Playing Alone?: If a teammate is absent, the present player may use a substitute or play alone
📊 Handicaps: Established after the first round (Points & Day Money begin in Week 2)

🕠 Tee Time:

  • Play anytime on league day

  • Must tee off by 5:30 PM

  • Late players must notify opponents before 4:00 PM or forfeit

🚩 Senior Players (70+): May play from red tees (must commit for the season)

⏳ Pace of Play Rules:

  • Do not start in front of a group already on the green

  • Cart rule: No tee box restrictions—contact can be made anywhere

  • Out of Bounds: Option to drop in fairway with a 2-stroke penalty

  • Max Strokes: Option to complete hole after a double par has been reached (i.e. 8 on a par 4)

  • Creek Rules: Holes 5, 6, long 7 and short 8 require drop zone placement

  • Max Group Size: 6 players per group

🚨 Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Immediate suspension; league officers determine further action

Scoring System

🏆 5-Point System:

  • A Player: 2 points (Low Net & Most Holes Won)

  • B Player: 2 points (Low Net & Most Holes Won)

  • Team Point: 1 point (Low Team Net)

🚫 No-Show Rule:

  • Absent Team: Opponent earns 3 points automatically

  • Remaining 2 points can be earned by playing against par

  • Absent Individual: Opponent earns 1 point and can earn another against par

📌 Par for Scoring:

  • Individuals: 38

  • Teams: 76

Inclement Weather Policy

🌧️ Rainouts Called by 3:30 PM by the course superintendent
⚠️ Weather Warnings: Play may resume if safe; otherwise, matches must be completed on another day

  • Fewer than 4 holes played: Match can be rescheduled (subs allowed)

  • 4+ holes played: Match resumes later without subs

  • Makeup rounds: Must be completed by the following Monday

  • Forfeits: Remaining team plays against par to earn points

Day Money & Championship Prizes

💰 Weekly Day Money:

  • Awarded to top 3 teams (starting Week 2)

  • Only available for Wednesday night players

  • Rainout day money goes back to the league

🏆 Championship Payouts: Cash prizes for the top 4 teams

📊 Tiebreakers:

  • Day Money: Scorecard playoff (most difficult hole → easiest hole)

  • Championship Matches: Teams can choose between:
    1️⃣ Coin Flip
    2️⃣ High Card Draw
    3️⃣ Sudden Death Playoff (Hole 1 → Hole 9, repeat as needed)
